Chronicles Issue #6 & Hellbound Hearts

Tue Nov 3, 2009, 7:22 AM
LATEST ISSUE
Issue #6 of the Hellbound Chronicles, Hellraiser Fan Comics, has just been published on our website: [link] . This new issue is the debut of artist Berty-J-A for the series, whose DA page can be found here: :iconberty-j-a:

"The Damned Rogue" is a comic written by Gavin "xt4" and drawn by Berty-J-A, who also provides the fabulous cover and pin-up art for the issue. "The Damned Rogue" is one of the first scripts commisioned on this project, a few years back, and we're delighted to finally see it completed and Berty-J-A's art was the perfect style for the story. We hope you enjoy this comic which we feel demonstrates the versitility of the mythology of Hellraiser.

Please stop by our forum [link] as well, to let those involved know what you thought of the story, positive and negative, and let us know if you want to get involved as a writer or artist for the Hellbound Chronicles!

ALSO, don't forget the brand new Hellraising short story anthology "Hellbound Hearts" has now been released, a collection of brand new Cenobite stories by the best names in horror fiction. Check it out! See below in this journal for the original press release

FAQ
- What are The Hellbound Chronicles (HBC)?

HBC is an independent, non-profit web comic project. The writing is based on the fiction established by the movies Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and also referencing the other HR films, The Hellbound Heart, prior EPIC Hellraiser comics, etc., while at the same time establishing original characters and themes within the series. Illustration styles are intended to match the artistic themes common to the stories, with stylistic exceptions as needed.

This project is not just for Hellraiser or horror fans, but fans of interetsing and different horror comics. We want to support artists, and get their work seen, with feedback, aided by the already existing audience. Artist wishing to be involved will also get a profile page on our website where they're welcome to leave details on commisions and paid work. With comics ranging from 5 to 15 pages long, there's variety and plenty of scope for you to get involved. We hope you enjoy the Hellbound Chronicles and let our artists known what you think of their efforts!
